Anonymous asked: I've been self harming since I was about 9 years old (I'm 15 now) and I recently told my friends about it. They only think it's been going on for about a year though and they think that I'm doing it for attention. I don't know how to tell them that this isn't something new because I'm scared they'll judge me. Any advice?

Sounds like they’re judging you already so you might as well just tell them the truth. I personally think you don’t really need ‘friends’ like that anyway.

Anonymous asked: hi, Anna. my boyfriend told me a few days ago that he wants to get a tattoo of moon (it has a significant meaning for us) because he loves me. he has an appointment next Monday and I cant be there, because I'm visiting my relatives out of country. when he told me that I didn't know what to think, but now l'm freaking out. it's just that tattoos are for life & if we won't last, he will still be left with it. and that thing's gonna hurt like hell! is it normal to be scared about stuff like this?

Well yes sure, it’s natural to be worried but ultimately it’s his decision. But if you really don’t want him to get it, you should tell him about your concerns.

elphabafae asked: This is a message for one of your anons who was worried about coming out as gay to their parents. I just want to give them a little extra courage. I came out as bisexual to my parents and brother last night and I couldn't ask for a more accepting and loving family. I'm sure their family will be too. Just be honest and tell them exactly how you are feeling. They will appreciate and respect you for that, and love you all the more! Good luck!
